James is an interdisciplinary scholar specializing in media studies and aesthetics. He is an essayist, author of prose fiction, poet, and filmmaker.
Graduate student instructor in the Department of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages, University of Connecticut, Storrs.
Research areas include French poststructuralist theory, 20th-century literary modernism and postmodernism, and 20th-century French cinema.
